Overview

Broadcast Sales Representative:

Discover Mediaworks, the creator Discover Wisconsin, Into the Outdoors, & Boondock Nation television series is looking for a Broadcast Sales Representative with at least 5 -7 years of professional experience.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge in broadcast sales, social media, digital advertising and be able to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere with high accountability and urgency to respond to sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
  • Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
  • Collobrate with the business development team on new sales strategies and tactics to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
  • Meet personal budgetary goals and specific business unit quotas.
  • Maintains current accounts and develops new account relationships.
  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations and agreements to clients.
  • Maintain and continually improve knowledge of effective marketing and broadcast principals, stratgies, and methods.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support business development efforts and client accounts.

Qualifications

Four year marketing/broadcasting degree preferred or equivalent/relative experience in business development.  Candidates should also have strong computer skills with the ability to work in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote, be able to travel when necessary and love working as a collaborative member our tribe.  Positions available include base plus comission, comission only, full-time, and part-time positions.
